THE STORY BEHIND IANKA DESIGN
Hi, I’m Ianka. I grew up around craftsmanship—my father was a glass blower, and from a young age, I learned to appreciate the beauty of well-made things. After spending decades in the fashion industry, I felt a strong need for more freedom, time with family, and work that truly reflects my values.
That led me to start Ianka Design—a line of sustainable, limited-edition bags made with care, intention, and soul. I work with small batches of high-quality, last-bolt fabrics and top grain leather sourced from European suppliers. These materials are often one-of-a-kind, full of texture and personality. I don’t design first and then source—I let the materials guide the design. It’s a tactile, organic process that ensures every piece is unique.
